SNOW DAY

This is one reason why I despise OK weather. 70's one day, snowing another!! Are you kidding??? It's almost April!! 6 inches of snow?? Come 'on!! Oh well, at least it melted off mostly today, and it gave Cole and Miles a chance to play around a little bit. And I got to see my cute little man in this cute little hat for I'm pretty sure the very last time. He's growing up so fast...sniff sniff

By the way, did I mention that he HATED the mittens?? He was like, "Dude, where are my fingers?? I can't grab anything!!"

Cole and Daddy made snowballs and threw them across the front yard so Miles could chase after them and eat them. :) They had fun.
Miles loves being a snow bunny. He kept asking to go outside like every 30 minutes!!

Well, despite the cold weather and snow that I so dearly HATE, it was fun watching the little guy trudge thru it and fall down and get mad, then eat the snow and laugh. :) But I do look forward to having outside activities in pools and 80 and 90 degree weather. So old man winter with all your dandruff please shampoo well with Selsun Blue, because I don't want to see any more of this until 2010!!

Hanging with Family Part 2

Last Sunday we all got to hang out again before Aunt Angela, Payten, & Brayden went home. Grandma Jan gave me a heads up on how to hunt Easter Eggs so I'll be ready to roll in a few weeks.

Fun Week with Family--Part 1

(Poor child, I have got to quit calling him baby bear! That's sooo corny!)

This week I got to hang out with lots of family! It was sooo fun! My Aunt Angela and cousins, Payten and Brayden came to visit from Houston! So Wednesday, my mommy took me down to Tulsa to go see them! We went to a park in Jenks that my Great Grandpa helped have built--see the sign says my name!!

My cousin, Kennedi, was soooo excited to show me all around the park! She was trying to help me get to the slide faster....but she is 7 months older than me, so I had a hard time keeping up!


But we FINALLY made it to the slide, and I had sooo much fun going down it again and again and again!! Below are Payten, me, and Kennedi!

I got to swing a lot too, but I think that throwing mulch over the side of the playground barrier is equally as much fun. If you've never tried it, it's fascinating. It'll keep you busy for like 15-20 minutes!!

After the park, I was soooooo tired!!! So I slept all the way home!!! Then we got to see them all again on Saturday and Sunday, but that's part 2, cuz my mommy has to go to bed. :)

Our Latest Adventures

We've had several nice days lately, so Cole and I have gone to the park a lot. He has so much fun swinging, going down the slides, and watching all the bigger kids.

This week we also went out to Osage Hills State Park twice. My parents were out there camping with my neices for Spring Break, and so we went out for a few hours during a couple days. Cole got to see what camping was all about...I think he'll make a good outdoorsman.

Cole is 13 months

Cole is 13 months already! He's changed so much in just a month. He is walking everywhere and just having a blast! As soon as he got the hang of walking he was DONE with crawling. He just thinks it's so fun to be on 2 stems instead of 4! He's been playing, babbling, signing, and learning all sorts of things! Here's some cute pics of him playing playing playing!

Dog Crate--oooo fun!!! Open/Close, Open/Close--I'm easy to entertain he says!

"BA!!" Which means, "Ball". This is one of his favorite toys! His bball goal. He and Chris shoot buckets ALL the time, and Cole thinks it's soooo fun! I hope you grow taller than your mommy so you can have a shot at playing more than peewee basketball! Although Keiton Paige this weekend gave me some hope for Cole.

And he LOVES to swing at the park! "Wheeee!"

That's all I have for now. And I fufilled my promise from last night. Megan and Brooke will be happy. :) It's now 11:38pm and I again have to get up at 5am so I can run off the southwestern eggrolls from Chiles that I ate for dinner tonight, which were NOT on my plan for tighter abs and smaller thighs this week!!! PLUS, Megan and Liz both said that if I run when it's really cold, it's a good excuse for a Starbucks chai tea latte which is my new favorite addiction! I had 4 last week.....but only b/c Chris bought me one as a surprise. :) Thanks babe! I "needed" it!

Valentine's Weekend

Over Valentine's Weekend.....I know....it's been a while since I've posted. I explained that in the earlier post. I'll do better this month I promise! Anyways, my brother (Theo), sister-in-law (Tara), and nephew (Austin) came down to OK from CO to visit! All of us kids got to sneak off for a movie and Valentine's dinner at Bonefish Grill while mom and dad watched ALL 7 grandkids!! On their Anniversary!!! Thanks mom and dad! It's a night we'll remember for a long time! We also got to celebrate Austin's 1st birthday. It was fun to watch him dig into his cake and have fun opening presents. I know I know it's been too long!!

I realize that it has been a month now since I've posted any pictures, and I have a lot to post! I promise tomorrow night I will post some. Basically I've been busy and when I have not been busy I've been sick and too out of it to post anything. I also recently decided to train for the OKC marathon in April which has also taken up more of my time. But I promise to the whole blogger world that tomorrow night I will post pics after I get home from work, make dinner, and get the little guy to sleep. Even if I have to drink a 2-liter of Diet Dr. Pepper, I'll get it done. But I have to get up at 5am, and it's 11:50 pm right now, so sorry, after laundering the carseat cover Cole threw up in on the way home from church tonight and clipping coupons so I can shop in the next few days, I am too tired to spend an hour posting. Plus I have a cold and every time I breathe it feels like the air is going straight to my brain. I have a hundred excuses I'm sure. Sorry it's been so long since I've posted, and I've not checked anyone else's blog either, so I also apologize for that. Check after tomorrow night, and they'll be some pics I promise, and hopefully I can catch up on everyone else's lives too!
