Bet You Didn't Know What Came Next....

Cole has a question for you today...
So have you ever wondered what comes next in the song,
"Head and Shoulders, Knees, and Toes,
Knees and Toes, Knees and Toes,
Head and Shoulders, Knees, and Toes...."

Scroll down, and he'll tell you what comes next in his version of the song...

"Li-ttle Penis!!"
Yes, folks it's all over! The man has found his penis.
And the mystery of it I'm sure will never end....

OUR NEW KITCHEN!!!

So it's pretty much done now except for some paint touch ups. Yea! I think it looks pretty great! Chris and I are both very happy with our new kitchen. I took some before and after photos for those of you out of town/state. Under the Son painted/glazed our cabinets, Surfaces in Tulsa did our granite, and a guy named Shawn from Tulsa did the backsplash. :) I'm not for sure who he was with or if he was independent....our awesome contractor, Colin Campbell, would have to tell you that. :) Thanks for everything, Colin, and Brooke too for helping me pick out granite and stuff!

BEFORE (cabinets already glazed obviously. I wish I had a pic of it before they were painted. It'd be much more of a contrast):

and AFTER:

Tumbled marble backsplash, diamond..

New Undermount sink with new faucet..

The backsplash will actually be darker once sealed..

Santa Cecila 3 cm granite...

From a distance...

It looks way better in person than from a distance, so you'll just have to pop over and see for yourself if you haven't been over yet. We just have to get it all back in order now. Our microwave has been on the floor in the pool table room for over a week now, and the pool table itself holds everything from our kitchen counters. It's a mess! Better go get started on that! More pics of the cute little man to come soon!

Our Latest Adventures

Cole is over 5 months now and, in my opinion, still cute as ever! I love his little summer hat here:

Last weekend Meme and Papa came up to Bville, went to church with us, took us to eat, and then enjoyed a few hours playing with Cole. We always enjoy time with our families!

Since Cole is 5 months now, he has been having adventures with other solids besides rice cereal. He is Mr. Independent already. He has to have control of that spoon on most occasions. It's pretty funny. He's a messy eater right now, but at least he's liked all his foods. He's had squash, carrots, and sweet potatoes so far.

4TH of JULY ADVENTURES

We went to Hillcrest pool with Jan to swim and lay out while Chris, Colin, and Mike played some golf. Thanks Jan for letting me lay out, even though my back is still fried!! It was nice to get some sun. Cole didn't give us much of a reaction with the water. He studied it a lot and gave us a few kicks and smiles here and there. But mostly he just was taking the experience in. No crying, and no laughing. Just chilled...

After they boys were done golfing, Mike and Jan grilled out with us. It was fun! Thanks for hanging with us!

And last night Cole got to go see his buddy, Pierson. He is so cute! Cole isn't acutally this much shorter than Pierson. Pierson is a good stander, and Cole could care less to stand right now...soon enough I guess. Thanks Drew & Megan for having us over! I ate way too much! Gotta get serious about this baby weight again. I'll start trying again today to lose my chub :)
